We’ve got answers
What is 5Founders?
5Founders is a mastermind platform for founders. We bring small groups of like-minded founders together to help each other in a facilitated and supportive way.
Why does 5Founders exist?
We understand that being a founder can be isolating. Even with investors or advisors, there’s often a perceived risk in having honest conversations. 5Founders was created to provide a safe space for founders to connect, share, and grow together.
How is this different from a social network?
5Founders is a mastermind group where founders can openly share their successes and struggles in a risk-free environment. Our goal is to help founders build lifelong relationships by fostering mutual growth and support. We believe a rising tide lifts all boats, so we focus on working with founders who value vulnerability and a non-competitive spirit.
How do I join 5Founders?
Simply fill out this form to share a bit about yourself and your journey as a founder.
How big are the groups?
Each group consists of a maximum of 5 founders. This ensures everyone has an opportunity to discuss what’s on their mind. A facilitator will guide each session to maintain balance and ensure productive conversations. The facilitator will not participate as a member.
How are the meetings held?
Since our founders come from all over the world, meetings are held virtually via Zoom.
How frequent are the meetings?
Groups meet once a month. We coordinate with members to find a time that works for everyone.
What does 5Founders cost?
5Founders is $100/month per founder for early adopters.
Are there any rules on 5Founders?
Confidentiality is critical—don’t share anything discussed in your sessions with anyone for any reason without explicit permission from the founder who shared it.
What happens if you break confidentiality?
You risk a lifetime ban from the platform.
Should founders have a certain mindset?
Yes. Founders should approach the platform with a mindset of helpfulness, service, and non-competitiveness. Be supportive and helpful, both in action and thought. Everything starts with the right intentions.
Who is behind 5Founders?
5Founders was started by Chris Stanchak, serial entrepreneur and founding advisor to Venmo, LevelUp, Daysheets, StarkWare, DreamIt Ventures & more.
